Curated rooms for women building, investing, and leading. Each event is screened, intentional, and designed for real connection.
Each event brings together a small, screened group — founders, investors, operators, technical leaders — for a few hours of real conversation. No open networking. No tire-kickers. The rooms are curated, the introductions are intentional, and the goal is always the same: connect the women who should know each other.
An intimate fireside conversation with Eric Ries — author of The Lean Startup and Incorruptible — on building companies that hold the line. Followed by audience Q&A and book signing.
A curated morning for 40 women in tech. Pre-matched conversations between technical and non-technical founders, operators, and engineering leaders. 40 women. One room.
The Built to Lead series travels to Chicago, hosted at Chief. A daytime gathering for women founders, operators, and senior executives. Format and run of show confirmed in the coming weeks.
A 100-woman leadership conference built around three pillars: Body, Identity, and Capital. Featured Arlan Hamilton (Backstage Capital), Catherine Gray (She Angel Investors), La Keisha Landrum Pierre (Emmeline Ventures), Taylor Hall (The Tay Way), Natanya Bravo (The Bravo Life), and Shelin David (CFOWorx).
Shelin is a Chartered Accountant, fractional CFO, investor, and serial entrepreneur working across the US and Australia. She is the founder of CFOWorx Advisory, the CEO of SheBacks.Me — a community of investors backing women founders through angel syndicates and alternative capital — and a co-founder of Women For Impact.
She is an Activator for Coralus (formerly SheEO), a global community of women investing in women, and serves on multiple non-profit and corporate boards. As a first-generation migrant, Shelin is deeply driven by social equity — particularly the gender funding gap and the structural barriers facing women of colour in business.
Built to Lead is delivered in partnership with venues, communities, and organisations that share these values. Past and current partners include Chief, Industrious, Underground Tech, LA Grind, Backstage Capital, Emmeline Ventures, She Angel Investors, and others.
